My latest great photographic opportunity was a 5 week trip traveling around the five Spanish autonomous communities of Catalonia, Valencia, Basque Country, Galicia and Madrid. This mostly walking adventure had been on my list of places to explore for a number of years. In a minimalist way, these images are an attempt to capture that first sense of arrival, the feeling of newness before familiarity sinks in and perhaps a little local flavor. Spain is both a place of tradition and progress. With this series, I’ve endeavored to capture rhythms, perspectives, abstractions and patterns both natural and man-made. For 5 weeks, this was a vagabond life, not normally associated with my own day to day. All pieces are archival quality, custom printed, mounted and framed. Format is 11”x14” prints on 20”x25” frames/mounts priced at $550.00/per piece. 8 out of 11 pieces are still available.
